If you enjoy reading, whether fiction or biography, you could enjoy the Book Circle. We are a group linked with the Institute in Long Marton who meet, during the day, every two months to discuss a book we have all been reading. We borrow our books from the Cumbria Library Service, free of charge.
At present there are 8 members of the Circle and we meet in each other’s homes.

We offer you a friendly welcome to join us. (I should have said we have 3 members from Milburn, and the rest from Long Marton!).
* The idea for the Book Circle came from the history of the Institute, which was set up as a library and reading room for local people.
